Don’t forget to protect your other purchases like ski-lift passes, show tickets, or even rental equipment. If your destination is a long drive from the airport do consider staying in a nearby hotel/motel for one night so you can relax, do any back pain exercises you have been given and get in the pool if there is one. I have found this invaluable and make it so much easier to tolerate longer flights and car journeys.

I’m currently in contact with a travel agent, who’s researching fares for me. So far, they seem to be hovering around U.S $1,600, round-trip.
