Follow your Passion and Travel to a new place every 3-4 months and Eat, Travel, Live and REPEAT. That’s my mantra to live a life without regrets. This is a blog about my travel escapades, food trail stories and some budget travel tips for all those who have been bitten by the travel bug. Also handy are organizers that fit the hotel room shelves. I just put these organizers on the shelves and I am free of the hassle of packing and unpacking. I also keep a few Ziploc bags in my luggage. I have to admit, they are versatile, handy and occupy less space. Moreover, I can immediately see what’s in there.
Start a change jar. We always have a place we can toss coins we have at the end of the day. Those little amounts can add up. Maybe you’ll only find yourself with an extra $75 at the end of a year, but that could be the difference between getting an extra meal or two out or doing something you really don’t want to miss out on. I find that a jar I can’t see into is easier to ignore when I find I’m cash poor in my wallet.
Connection made, 15 minutes was plenty of time. The timetable supplied by the ticket office in Bucharest is useless. Fortunately I have a copy of the DB Bahn one printed out (don’t leave home without one) and it’s pretty accurate. I couldn’t work out the Bulgarian departures board very well but got to speak to a helpful lady in the ticket office. Platform 4, 18.45 – I’m now bound for Dimitrovgrad.
Hey Bart, If you really want to explore Boracay and Palawan 3 weeks will be enough. There is nothing much to explore in Boracay perse but the beach and all the water sports they offer and of course the food and night life…but in Palawan, there is so much more. Palawan is quite big and so travel from one destination to the next may take a lot of time either by boat or by car. The capital city which is Puerto Princesa is also very nice, but i recommend for you to not miss El Nido and Coron if you really like to see nature at its best…:) Good luck.
Thank you for this Hub! This is so inspiring! I am want to go soooooo BADLY to tour the Pantanal wetlands in Brazil and then hop over to the Amazon Rainforest and as badly as I want to do this in the next couple years, I know that no one I know will be as excited about this and I keep thinking I can go by myself but then I feel like nobody takes vacations alone?? After reading this and seeing your pictures I feel like I really can. Awesome Hub!
It is important that you have all the vaccinations and the necessary documentation well in advance of travelling. For example your pet must be vaccinated against Rabies at least twenty one days before travel. If you haven’t arranged this within the specified timeframe then you will either not be permitted to travel or you will be asked to put your pet in quarantine in the UK. Please note that if your pet has previously been vaccinated against Rabies, providing that you give a booster vaccination before it expires, you will not have to observe the twenty one day waiting period. In my friend’s case we were able to give Brussels a booster vaccination and they were able to travel two days later.
