Turkey is carrying out vaccination of its tourism employees

The Turkish Ministry of Health, in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism & Culture has now begun the vaccination process in full force. This is for employees related to the travel and tourism sector so that come summer, visitors can be confident about travelling in Turkey.

The world is currently going through vaccination programmes everywhere as there is a rush to get ahead of the coronavirus, and beat it. As more and more destinations are planning to open up to vaccinated travellers, Turkey has gone a step further to ensure that its citizens who are employed in the tourism business are vaccinated. The vaccination drive currently underway in the nation is for employees with airports, airlines, travel agencies, and accommodations. The vaccination is aso being given to professional guides. Turkey is looking to complete the vaccination programme right at the start of the summer season this year.

The vaccination programme is under the Safe Tourism Certification Program of the country that aims to allow international travellers to go around the country in a safe, and secure manner.

The Safe Tourism Certification Program is being hailed as one of the most successful programmes of its kind in the world right now. Under this programme, Turkey has made it compulsory for those accommodation facilities with more than 30 rooms to become a part of it and get certified. As of now, the nation has certified 8000 such facilities.

This surely is going to ease the worries of travellers who are willing to holiday in the country this summer.
