Ayodhya’s Saryu river to have luxury cruises by next Diwali

Ayodhya is being developed into a prominent tourist attraction in the country. As per latest news, Yogi Adityanath led-government in Uttar Pradesh is planning to come up with a luxury cruise ride on the Saryu river. The cruise that will revisit the splendour of Ramayana is on the cards by next Diwali.

In a press release, the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways said that a meeting was held for the quick implementation of the cruise services. A ministry spokesperson said, “It aims to give mesmerizing experience to devotees with a one-of-its-kind spiritual journey while cruising through the famous ghats of the holy river Saryu”.

The cruise will offer tourists a grand view of the recently constructed Rama Temple in Ayodhya, along with the statue of Rama and the Rama corridor.

Prime features

1) The Ramayana Cruise will be an 80-seater luxury cruise.

2) It will be equipped with a pantry and kitchen.

3) Safety and security will be of the global standard.

4) The interiors will be designed as per descriptions in the Ramcharitmanas.

5) Laced with huge glass panels, the cruise will offer amazing views of the Sarayu ghats.

6) It will feature hybrid engines and bio-toilets.

7) The tour will cover nearly 15 km on the revered Saryu river.

8) A 45 to 60 minutes feature film will be shown to people based on Tulsidas’s

9) It will also feature selfie points for tourists.

The government has already announced a huge infrastructure for beautifying Ayodhya and making it a global tourist destination. Soon, the city will have an international airport and construction work for Satsang Bhawan and Dasarath Mahal is already in progress. As per reports, INR 242 lakh has been allotted for the project.
