This is one-of-its-kind initiative taken by any airline to boost the confidence of people in flying since the pandemic hit the world. The flying perk will go into immediate effect at no additional cost to its passengers and will remain valid till October 30, 2020. Another best thing is that this package will be available to all the flyers irrespective of travel class or destination.
According to the official release, if a customer tests positive for the virus, he/she can claim up to $173600 medical expenses and up to $116 every day till 14 days which will cover the quarantine cost.
The prime Dubai-based carrier has 270 wide-bodied aircraft but the flights were grounded in March because of the Coronavirus lockdown to avoid the spread of the virus.
