Sometimes one of the most enjoyable parts of a vacation is taking advantage of visiting the more unusual places that an area has to offer. Anyone can go to a professional sporting event or a popular tourist attraction in almost any major city in the United States, but it takes an imaginative and creative traveler to set out to purposefully choose visiting the more unusual attractions in the area. Phoenix, Arizona is a perfect example of this. The city offers great shopping opportunities, wonderful outdoor recreation possibilities, and first class resorts to entertain and occupy travelers that head its way, but it also offers some truly unusual and interesting attractions to. Here is a small sampling of just some of those more interesting sites available in Phoenix. There might be some challenges to reissue an electronic ticket if a passenger needs to be transferred to another airline especially when flight cancellations occur due to non-weather related reasons. Airlines may use different procedures, reservation systems, and networks, and they are not always compatible.

After breakfast on the second morning, we set off on a hike into the nearby mountains. Fog hung low, but as we neared the lookout point, sunlight started to peek from behind the clouds. We reached a clearing in the thick trees from which we could overlook the winding river in the valley below.

I had a picnic in my compartment consisting of my cheese roll, some pretzels and a rather fine Hungarian red wine made in a Portugese style. In a schoolboy packing error I forgot my plastic collapsible wine glass, so I purchased a plastic cup for 20 Florints. I seem to be rapidly turning into an InterRail peasant.

The villa sits in Rome’s Borghese garden park….one of the few green spaces in Rome. The home was commissioned by Cardinal Borghese to act as his residence and to house his art collection. Today, the villa is a gallery where precious artworks are displayed. The most impressive pieces are the sculptures by world renowned artists such as Bernini, Caravaggio, and Canova.

Just because your children are travelling without you, doesn’t mean that you can’t help protect them. Statistics show that youngsters are less likely to provide themselves with holiday cover so why don’t you do it for them? ^^ It could potentially save you – and them – a small fortune.
