Fast-growing operator Crescent Hotels & Resorts has bolstered its Latitudes Collection with the addition of The Bethesdan Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton in the heart of Bethesda.

This exciting news follows the recent completion of a US$20 million renovation spanning the property’s guestrooms, public venues and event spaces.

A new chapter

The Bethesdan Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton is entering a new era following its makeover, with Crescent Hotels & Resorts now managing the scheme under the Latitudes Collection umbrella. Highlights of the 270-key property in Bethesda, Maryland include Leo & Liv, an American craft restaurant with Mediterranean influences, and gourmet coffeeshop Leo & Go.

“In addition to event space, guests will also find comfort in the culinary offerings The Bethesdan Hotel offers onsite,” said Michael George, CEO of Crescent Hotels & Resorts.

“Whether it’s the setting to host business meetings, individual work sessions, family dinners or evening drinks, Leo & Liv presents a warm and lively feel. The American craft restaurant features a twist on Mediterranean offerings and is inspired by local farmers’ market fare.”

Catering for business travellers

Ideal for business travellers, this hotel places guests within walking distance of Bethesda’s business district and just one metro stop away from Washington DC. The development is also close to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.

Events are hosted in more than 13,500 sq ft of space, including the 5,600 sq ft Bethesdan Ballroom accommodating up to 450 visitors at a time. The hotel can also work with conference and event hosts to custom-build a website helping organisers to manage attendance more effectively.
