I carried out plenty of research on gap years when I reached the end of my schooling, so even though I never actually had a gap year in the end, it seemed a waste not to share the cool websites I found, and I hope that they help and inspire you. Each day the bus would leave in the morning, usually stop for a side-trip (a hiking trip, a visit to a museum, a place to go bungee jumping, etc) and then finish up in the evening at a hostel. The following morning you had the option of getting back on the bus for the next leg, or staying behind for a few days until another bus came along with a whole new group of travelers. I met more people and saw more of those countries than I ever could have traveling any other way!
Note, on many occasions you will have different baggage limit allowance, especially if you travel outside the US. For example, if you travel to Europe with one connection, but have 2 separate tickets issued, it is very likely that both tickets will have different baggage allowances. This will definitely be the case if you stop in European city for more than 24 hours (=stopover) and you will need to pay excess baggage fee because most flights in Europe allow only 20kg checked-in baggage per passenger at no cost.
There is a distinct difference between filtration and purification. With filtration you are passing water through a screen of a certain size that blocks anything bigger than its holes from passing through. This includes bacteria, viruses, and protozoa that might otherwise cause disease. It will also take out any flotsam, of course (leaves, twigs, etc). The size of the holes is a key factor, depending on where you are traveling and the organisms most prevalent in the water there.
No doubt: I’ve chosen San Clemente church, in your pool, because I think it’s a wonderful place to see… not so known by people, there you can experiment the emotion to walk along the small streets of Ancient Rome…. like a jump of two-thousand years!
Note, always make sure that the agent takes the correct travel coupon from your ticket. You might have some issues on the next leg of the trip if an agent accidentally takes the wrong one. This does not happen often, but I suggest double checking than going through unnecessary trouble.
A UNESCO-protected site since 1973, Puerto Galera is located in Oriental Mindoro Province about 130 km south of Manila. The name Puerto Galera is used among travelers to refer to the area surrounding the town as well, including Sabang and White Beach.
